An RSS feed is a feed or a web feed or channel. A RSS feed function by using software called RSS reader or feed reader. A user can subscribe to someones feed and then get updates or alerts when that person puts a new video on their feed. This is helpful because users don't have to keep searching for videos they want then can just suscribe to one feed and get the videos when they come avaible.

RSS feeds distribute and sum up web content. They function by aggregating and distibuting web content and data throughout the internet. They also keep you updated on the lastest information. RSS feeds are so useful because they provide "fresh" web content to you. You dont have to look at content from the 90's with RSS feeds. It also makes website building easy, instead of checking for new news everyday to put on your website RSS feeds will do that for you. All in all, the WWW would be outdated without RSS feeds!
